About DigilAB Project
The DigiLAB Project aims to encourage more young people, youth workers, and youth organizations to engage in volunteer activities that support the participation of individuals with disabilities in sports, arts, and other community activities.
Within this project, the project partners will develop innovative, accessible, and digital educational resources to motivate young people and youth organizations to work in the field of disability. Participating youth will enhance their active citizenship skills and improve collaboration between institutions and young people to more effectively facilitate the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups. The project will create a volunteer training kit aimed at supporting the participation of individuals with disabilities in social and sports activities. This kit will include sections providing psychological and pedagogical support to promote social inclusion, as well as activity plans and methods for effectively reaching target groups. This comprehensive approach will enhance the capacity of the target group in various aspects related to the field. The training kit will be complemented with physical and online mobility activities to actively engage the target group throughout the process.
In alignment with the program priorities of “Increasing quality, innovation, and recognition of youth work” and “Inclusion and diversity in all fields of education, training, youth, and sport,” another significant output of our project will be DigiLAB.
This resource will be available for free use by young people, youth workers, and youth organizations. DigiLAB will contain video versions of the educational kit, workshops organized by experts and youth workers (both live and recorded), activities, a forum page, useful resources, and international resources related to this field. This activity will not only increase the knowledge and capacity of young people but also ensure the sustainability of this development through current events and workshops.
