Within the scope of the Athletics Coaching Course organized by the Turkish Federation of Sports for the Special Athletes, an important information and introduction activity was carried out for coach candidates. During the training held at the Gazi University Faculty of Sport Sciences, sports experts and coach candidates participating in the course were introduced to the DigiLAB E-Learning Platform, developed within the scope of the international project “Together We Play: Volunteer Initiative” (2023-2-TR01-KA220-YOU-000170632), in which our Federation is a partner.

The introduction aimed to contribute to the professional development of participants who are taking their first steps in their coaching careers. During the session, comprehensive information was shared about the digital training content offered by the platform, volunteer-based sports initiatives, and educational resources that support the social inclusion of individuals with disabilities.

Within the scope of the presentation, participants were informed about the structure of the DigiLAB platform, methods of accessing training materials, and the online course modules available on the platform. It was emphasized that the trainings available on the platform constitute an important learning resource particularly for volunteers, youth workers, and coaches who support the participation of individuals with disabilities in sports activities.

Our Federation continues to introduce and integrate digital learning tools developed within the framework of national and international projects in order to enhance the knowledge and skills of new coaches who will take part in the sports field and to contribute to the development of the sports ecosystem.
